What started as a simple desire for a more grounded life has blossomed into something truly special. Six years ago we left behind the suburbs of Brisbane and moved to the country in search of a simpler, more intentional way of living.

We started small, growing our fruits and vegetables, collecting eggs and eventually harvesting our own meat. With each step, we grew closer to the land and to each other.

Self-care and wellbeing have always been close to my heart, something I've naturally passed on to our two daughters and son. Over the years I have tried countless skincare products, from luxury brands to budget buys, but nothing ever truly satisfied me. So three years ago I decided to make my own. It all began with beeswax, thanks to my husband, Paul's new interest in beekeeping. But while those early creams and balms were a step in the right direction, they still were not quite right.

Then I discovered tallow. Curious and excited, I started experimenting. At first Paul thought I had completely lost the plot, after all to him tallow was something his grandparents used for cooking. But after plenty of trials with Paul and my lovely girlfriends, as my faithful test subjects, he became one of my biggest supporters. These days wherever Paul goes you can bet there is a tin of coffee infused tallow in his pocket.
